Initially entering the Permian Basin in a non-operated position, EPCo became an operator of more than 20 wells across 2,500 acres in the Northern Midland Basin in 2014. Additionally we hold non-operated positions in the Southern Midland Basin.
All acreage positions held by the company in the Midland Basin have primary focus on the Wolfcamp formation, with secondary objectives in the Sprayberry, Cline and other productive formations. EPCo pursues a drilling program in all of its Permian assets which includes a mix of conventional vertical drilling and unconventional, long-lateral horizontal drilling.
The assets held by EPCo in the Permian Basin are a growing resource base for our portfolio and we expect to be an active operator in the basin for a significant period of time.
